Puppet Modules

I’ve authored over three dozen high quality Puppet modules for my work at the University of Maryland. My modules stand out with test suites, complete documentation, and a cheeky logo like a cherry on top. Most are informed by my experience working on Nest.

Having worked with Puppet since the early 0.2x days, it has been a pleasure to see how the language, product, company, and community have evolved. My own approach to Puppet has evolved with it, and I increasingly find myself reaching for modules on the Puppet Forge, but I’m not afraid to start from scratch or fork and improve an existing module.

These modules may never see the light outside of UMD, but I wrote them generically, confining any business-specific logic to Hiera or other, branded modules. I bring this experience with me wherever I go.
